Nico Made by Nicole Ferrara

Nicole Ferrara is the founder of Honolulu-based creative studio Nico Made. Her illustrations focus on life in paradise, filled with surfing and tropical botanicals. Nicole’s work favors stylistic irregularities of hand drawings mixed with bright pops of color. Her inspiration comes from warm beach days and lush nature hikes with her three young boys and husband. 

Nicole has designed for global clients such as SONY and Workman Publishing. However, being an island girl at heart, she is honored to illustrate for Hawaii-based companies such as the Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club, Coco Moon Hawaii, and The Sullivan Family of Companies.

About Nicole

Nicole was born and raised in Hawaii, holds degrees in International Relations, Japanese language, and Graphic Design, and had a previous corporate life in Marketing Research. Upon returning home from the mainland and needing a creative escape from statistics and market data, Nicole began Nico Made as a side gig. In 2010, she started designing cards and tea towels. Nico Made by Nicole Ferrara has since evolved into a full-service creative studio offering many illustrated products and graphic design services.
